That's debatable. What is not is the way Miocic went about the victory.
Round 4. Miocic gets a takedown early and is in side control. Ngannou lands a couple punches but Miocic goes right back to the takedown attempt. Miocic started chopping Ngannou's legs with kicks.

'The Predator' managed to get back to his feet but did so a tired man.
His only losses coming into the evening came at the hands of Junior Dos Santos (decision) and Stefan Struve (TKO). Miocic doesn't really get the credit he deserves but he has proved to be a heck of a fighter. At the start of the third round, the tide appeared to be shifting in his favor.
In the end, all three judges scored the fight the same, 50-44 to Miocic, who has now logged three successful UFC heavyweight title defences - more than any champion in the promotion's history.
