New York Giants: Why is Ben McAdoo still calling plays?

For a second consecutive week, the Lions looked sharp on defense. Little else after that made the sell-out crowd at MetLife Stadium cheer on a night where they honored the 2007 Super Bowl team. NY was forced to play musical chairs on the offensive line when Bobby Hart reaggravated his ankle two plays in and did not return. Dallas ran 71 plays, in large part because New York's offense could not get anything going. Stafford didn't dominate through the air.

He also mentioned self-inflicted wounds as being a culprit for the struggles on offense. It's to the point where 20 points is a miracle. That dates back to when Martha Firestone Ford fired everybody.

The rivalry between the Lions and Giants dates all the way back to 1930, but once the National Football League expanded in the 1950s, they didn't meet up every year. Taking exception to that, Collins said a few words, Ebron said a few words back and they got face-to-face.

Earlier, Stafford found Marvin Jones for a 27-yard touchdown in the first quarter and picked out Eric Ebron for a seven-yarder in the second after NY had levelled things up with their first touchdown of the season. For the rookie tight end, it was the first touchdown catch of his career.
