There is no question about it: #Facebook has dominated the #social media platforms.

As a redesign of Facebook's current Video tab, Watch will feature some original shows financed by Facebook, as well as videos from other creators.

At launch, there are hundreds of shows, but Facebook wants to increase this to thousands before long. It's certainly possible Watch will help Facebook swallow more and more of the internet into its ever-expanding gullet.

Some of the shows will be available right away to a small percentage of users, while 40 shows will be included as part of Facebook's scheduled programming that's scheduled to begin on August 28.
